Concerning the half portion, half of what?
When 1 is divided by 2 it never becomes half, because there is no remaining base. But 1/3 is half of 2/3 where surely the base here remains as 2/3 .
Concerning the planet earth there is the 1/3 portion of land which is half portion of 2/3 waters as oceans.
The Ancient Kings sometimes/rarely granted the greatest promise to others, as half of his kingdom would be granted. What does it mean? That shows the area of his kingdom will not be equally divided into two, rather the other person will be appointed as the Regent of his kingdom with one-third of his power to the Regent while over the Regent the King had double the kingdom and threefold power.
