Normally the Outer conscience alone functions in every grown-up person as the Basic conscience till the three higher consciences are quickened or awakened.
While the Outer conscience alone functions in every grown-up person as the Basic conscience, in depth there is the Subconscious behind that Outer conscience.
The Subconscious of man while the Outer conscience alone functions
The basis of the such Subconscious is the sleeping state of the Childhood conscience which is in every person. Of course, from the age of thirteen in the majority the Childhood conscience enters into sleeping and so it remains in a dormant state, and further from the age of being a major, may be from the age of eighteen, in a vast majority the already sleeping and dormant Childhood conscience further enters into the dead state and so it remains in an entombed level. On account of this kind of dormant and then entombed Childhood conscience, the basis of the Subconscious works. But further three more aspects are involved in the functioning of this Subconscious. Those three aspects are the negative part of the Childhood conscience/the negative part of the Regained Childhood conscience as man’s negative nature by birth; then secondly the negative part of Subconscience comprising omissions in showing goodness, in showing kindness, in showing mercy and in reflecting love, and then thirdly the negative aspect of the Root conscience comprising omission in following the required duties, omission in following the order of required duties, omission in following the time of required duties and omission in following the time in general.
So here it is clear that, if only the Outer conscience alone functions in grown-up persons, internally the three-stepped darkness indwell in them, unless and until the Regained Childhood conscience, the Subconscience and the Root conscience are made quickened or awakened in them, though positively some of them are warring without yielding to the brutal actions and being refrained from quenching their light that is dwelling externally in the body, so are without quenching the singleness of eyes and though some among them are leading a normally good life by warring against own negative thinking, own negative talking, and own negative actions, internally the three-stepped darknesses indwell in them (unless and until the Regained Childhood conscience, the Subconscience and the Root conscience are made quickened or awakened in them).
The conscience in every grown-up human Being while being without the quickening or awakening
of the higher consciences
The description of the conscience-state given refers to the Outer conscience, when it alone functions in every grown-up person as the Basic conscience. But in every grown-up person, the Childhood conscience that enters into sleeping and so in dormant state further enters into dead state, and so in the entombed state it works as the Subconscious among the mankind.
The Subconscious in link with the Outer conscience while it alone functions

- The negative aspect of the Root conscience comprising omission in following the required duties, omission in following the order of required duties, omission in following the time of required duties and the omission in following time in general, together is the third inner part of the Subconscious.

Definition of the added value of the Subconscious
The absence of the quickened state or awakened state of the other three higher consciences gives the added value of the Subconscious still in more depth. But this added value mainly works negatively.

The very absence of the quickened state or awakened state of the three higher consciences brings about the vacuum gulf in the conscience.
Really conscience is a wheel applicable also
in those with Outer conscience alone in function
The Outer conscience has both positive part and negative part inseparably in two-sided function, while own negative thinking, own negative talking, and own negative actions are there with the facing of the naturally set consequence for one’s thinking, talking and actions as one’s the so-called fate. These own basic negative human aspects are the basic state of natural manhood which are permanently lying at the door of everyone’s abstract heart, by those negative aspects being tabernacled in the xiphisternum. Through such own basic negative human aspects, there passes a ray of conflict—as the pivotal point of Outer conscience—for man to positively strive against injustice and unrighteousness from one side. On the contrary, from the other side naturally there move the negative motions for injustice and unrighteousness as a driving force negatively from within.
When the higher consciences function
it is like a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
When the three higher consciences are quickened or awakened, then conscience is, as if it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel It is sure that when the higher three consciences are quickened or awakened, the functioning of those three higher consciences form themselves as a wheel, but by its intersecting the already made wheel in him out of the Outer conscience.
The positive part cannot be separated
from the negative part in conscience.
If it were a trial for separating the positive part of conscience from the negative part, then it would be like the trial of separating the two bowls in Torricellian Vacuum experiment, because from the knowledge of good and evil,being the basic aspect of every stage of conscience, the knowledge of good cannot be separated. In the same manner, the knowledge of evil cannot be separated from the knowledge of good and evil. Nevertheless, the knowledge of good and evil could be transformed into being the knowledge of evil and then into being the evil knowledge.
